WHY ARE THE WEIGHTS APPROXIMATE?

We only charge for the lightest weight of each share due to the variations in each animal's size and weight. Not all cattle are the same weight, so we use the lowest approximate average weight that our cattle have historically weighed. This means you get BONUS pounds of meat when butchered cattle are heavier than our approximate guess! You will never get less than the lowest approximate weight.
